  1. Year 6 Graduation, 2013

    Graduation Yr 6, 2013

     The Year 6 Graduation will be held on Thursday,12th December. The evening consists of a dinner for students and teachers, and a formal Graduation Ceremony. This event will take place in the school gymnasium. The event consists of the students arriving for a sit down meal at 6:00pm. This is followed, at around 7:00pm, by a few speeches and the students individually accepting a group photo from their teacher and making a brief statement about their aspirations for the future. Parents/carers/relatives are invited to this section of the evening, from 7:00pm onwards. It is anticipated that the formalities will be over by 8:00pm. A parent committee has organized the after party to run from 8:30-10:00pm.

    More details will be forwarded about the after party and location soon.

    Please be aware that no teachers attend the after-party.

  2. Canberra Trip: Monday 26th August

    Dear Parents and Carers,

    This week all students received a newsletter about what to bring for our up coming trip to Canberra. This can also be seen in this blog post. Please be aware of suit case / luggage requirements.

    ###Many medical forms were returned to me UNSIGNED and / or missing certain medical and dietary issues and I have returned these today. Please return completed forms to school by Friday as I have to email dietary requirements to the venue.

    ##All children with asthma require a management plan from their respective doctors.

    ###A new revised agenda can be read in this post too.

    ###Further details regarding sleeping groups and the use of SOME electronics will be forwarded soon.

    ##Children are requested not to bring mobile phones. If we have issues with children being homesick, then teachers can ring parents if circumstances arise where deemed appropriate.

  3. Independent schools’ scholarship exam (Parent Information)

    Independent schools’ scholarship exam

     There will be two exam preparation sessions for Year 6 students intending to sit scholarship exams for independent schools.

    When:

    8:30 am

    Friday 17th February

    Wednesday 20th February

    Where:

    PHPS library.

    Please note this is for students intending to sit scholarships only.
